o começo / the begining
É sempre uma boa ideia iniciar as coisas pelo começo e não queríamos deixar de o fazer com o nosso blog. Já agora seria boa ideia explicar quem somos, os the Profane Joy of Music são quatro pessoas que se juntaram graças ao gosto comum pela música e que passaram a exercer esse gosto não só como ouvintes mas tambem como autores e executantes.
Todos os pormenores relativos à banda podem ser encontrados em www.profanejoy.com bem como músicas para download etc. etc.
Apesar de termos uma página na net chegamos à conclusão que através de um blog, pelo seu âmbito intrínsecamente diferente, seria mais fácil fazer passar para o público uma série de facetas da nossa vivência de banda e cá está ele. Como estamos a gravar um novo trabalho neste momento por certo não teremos falta de assunto ;)
It's always a good idea to start things at the beginning, and obviously we had no choice but to do it with our own blog. By the way 'we', the Profane Joy of Music, are four guys that got together thanks to our love of music and that started making it instead of just listening to it.
You will be able to find everything about the band at www.profanejoy.com (once we get our english version going). In the mean time even if you can understand a word of portuguese you can check out our songs and lyrics (in english) here...
Anyway, though we have a website with all the usual stuff, bio, mp3, the works, we though that a blog was needed so we could get across some aspects of what it means for us to be in a band and so here it is and since we are recording a new album now we'll have plenty of stuff to post here. EnJoy ;)

yo, you guys rock,, im downlodaing your songs right now. any plans to come to the US soon?
Going over to the US would be really cool but there are no immeadiate plans for that now. Still it's something we've always wanted to do and now that we're starting to have fans on the other side of the atlantic we are considering it a whole lot more. Thanks for the support ;)
